Hammer Down Apparel was founded in 2022 by a washed up sprint car driver, Tyler Graves.

Dirt racing has been our life since day one, Tyler was just 3 weeks old when he attended his first race. Watching his grandfather race northeast modifieds and 1000cc mini sprints made Tyler obsessed with dirt track racing. 

Whether it was making powerpoint presentations of the prior weekend's race results at school on Monday, in the 4th grade, or daydreaming about being a World Of Outlaw champion, Tyler was (and still does) always thinking about racing.

Tyler raced go karts from ages 9-13 then started racing 305 sprint cars at the age of 14.

Tyler graduated to 360s at 15 years old where he stayed for the rest of his driving career.
